One-to-one classes have been continuing since the Spring of 2020 to today! These classes are a great opportunity for students to spend time with a tutor on a weekly basis.

Our one-to-one classes are divided into three levels, where each student can be placed into a level accordingly. Each class is 30 minutes long, in these 30 minutes, the teachers have planned materials and activities to do with students that are meant to help them to learn English, understand the American culture, and play games or little activities together.

We are using Newsela, Reading A-Z, and handmade slide shows as teaching materials. Through reading materials, students will be able to understand the topics better and there are grammar activities that follow it as more practice.

Each teaching plan is unique!

Our teachers are all aimed at students’ different English needs and weaknesses, and they prepare teaching plans of different levels.

For example: Teacher Jocelyn, according to her students’ English weakness, specializes in oral English practice, some elementary school students practice composition, and students mainly practice reading.

For example: Teacher Lia practiced oral English for some students, talking about topics such as life, the effectiveness of money, etc. The content of the chat was extensive and deep. These exercises will broaden students’ thinking and ideas, and will play a positive role in the learning process.
