Conversation Group
Conversation Group is class where we bring students and teachers from different levels together to play games and learn about American holidays and culture.
Each conversation group class is around an hour to an hour and a half long. Through this monthly gathering the whole Worldwide English community gets to feel more connected. Students are able to meet others who are at the same or different levels and still have a lot of fun together!
The main point of group classes is to spark casual conversation and allow students to join discussions at any time and share their thoughts.
Conversation Scene
Before each class, our teachers are very serious about preparing lesson plans, based on the topics that everyone will discuss this week. In order to allow every elementary student to have the opportunity to speak English, we give full consideration to students of different English proficiency and prepare different questions. After several weeks of practice, the students’ English speaking have improved a lot. Not only they can answer teacher’s questions, but some also can rush to answer them. Little guys, you are the best!
The number of participants in the last group dialogue class of the semester was particularly large because we were going to play a mysterious game. The interest of the young students was so high that they couldn’t have fun on the first day, and they also actively asked to participate in the dialogue group on the second day (in order to continue playing this mysterious game). This is a bingo game that we were play in our class.(See right picture)
